چکیده

Stent-assisted coiling (SAC) represents an established treatment option for broad-based intracranial aneurysms. Here we report our initial and follow-up experience with the Neuroform Atlas Stent, a hybrid open- closed-cell low-profile stent in of All aneurysms treated by SAC intention to apply Stent between July 2015 December 2019 were included. Angiographic clinical results analyzed including all examinations. A total 119 (8 acutely ruptured) 112 patients In 19 cases (16.0%) re-catheterization aneurysm was performed second procedure after failure re-cross initially. Of aneurysms, 83.2% (99/119) completely occluded following procedure. 75.6% (90/119), single microcatheter used both, implantation coil occlusion aneurysm. At 3–6 12 months follow-up, complete rates 75.2 (79/105) 81.3% (74/91). The thromboembolic (stent thrombosis) hemorrhagic complication rate 1.7 (2/119) 0.8% (1/119), respectively, resulting procedure-related morbidity mortality 0.9 0.9% (1/112 patients). using offers safe effective treat high angiographic success rate. majority procedures, application two mircocatheters is not required. Prospective comparative studies might help identify value among growing options

Neuroform stent-assisted coiling of unruptured intracranial aneurysms: short- and midterm results from a single-center experience with 68 patients.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Intracranial stent placement assists in the coiling of wide-neck aneurysms and aids in reconstructing and protecting the parent artery. In this study, we analyze our experience in the use of the Neuroform system. MATERIALS AND METHODS Records of patients treated with a Neuroform stent from June 2003 to September 2007 were retrieved from a data base for analysis of popul...

Y-stent-assisted coil embolization of wide-neck intracranial aneurysms. A single center experience.

This report evaluated the short and midterm results of the safety and effectiveness of the treatment technique with hybrid and non-hybrid Y-configured, dual stent-assisted coil embolization of wide-neck intracranial aneurysms, and reviewed the literature concerning this technique. Nine patients, eight with unruptured and one with ruptured aneurysms were included in the study. Of aneurysms embol...

Self-expandable stent-assisted coiling of wide-necked intracranial aneurysms: a single-center experience.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Endovascular treatment of wide-necked aneurysms remains a therapeutic challenge. We conducted this study to evaluate the angiographic results and clinical outcome of patients treated with stent-assisted coiling by using a recently available self-expandable intracranial stent. METHODS A retrospective review of all patients treated with self-expandable stent-assisted coil...

Treatment of intracranial broad-neck aneurysms with a new self-expanding stent and coil embolization.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Endovascular treatment of broad-neck intracranial aneurysms with detachable coils requires special techniques. Placement of a stent over the aneurysm neck and secondary coil embolization prevents coil migration and allows attenuated packing of the coils. However, access for the stent-delivery system can be technically limited in tortuous anatomy. We present six cases of b...

Flat panel detector angiographic CT for stent-assisted coil embolization of broad-based cerebral aneurysms.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The purpose of this work was to evaluate angiographic CT (ACT) in the combined application of a self-expanding neurovascular stent and detachable platinum coils in the management of broad-based and fusiform intracranial aneurysms. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eleven patients harboring wide-necked intracranial aneurysms were treated with a flexible self-expanding neurovascular ...
